Windfall
| Type | Converted work/cargo vessel |
|---|---|
| Operator | Pirate crew |
| Role | Collecting and carrying stolen cargo |
Windfall is a work/cargo vessel converted for piracy. It operates with Redress, the pair's principal armed raider.
Cargo work
Windfall collects and carries the loads taken in the pair's robberies. Its cargo capacity makes that work possible alongside Redress's armed force. The crew knowingly participates in the theft; this is not an ordinary carrier unaware of where its cargo came from.
The vessel's former operator, original name, and acquisition history remain undefined. Its working origins do not establish a particular company connection or explain how its present crew became pirates.
Name
Windfall is a pirate-chosen name that emphasizes opportunity and gain. Where Redress's name frames piracy as collecting a debt, Windfall's points toward the practical business of taking and selling cargo. Neither name makes the work innocent.
