What you do in Nova Protocol

Build it, fly it, and break it. Every visual below comes from the same sections, physics, weapons, and damage simulation you play.

01

Build the ship you can see

Choose parts from a visual gallery, mate real sockets, and preview derived cladding around the build before it leaves the editor.

Loop planned assets/loops/landing-editor-build.webm The parts gallery closes into the build view; a section snaps onto a highlighted socket and the selected skin closes around the finished hull.
The editor shows the same structure and skin the flight scene will spawn.
02

Fly the hull you built

Manual flight and GOTO use the same mass, controller, and thrusters. Watch the ship swing, burn, flip, and settle instead of sliding along an invisible path.

Loop planned assets/loops/landing-player-flight.webm A built hull accelerates through a rock field under the ordinary player camera, then coasts past nearby traffic.
The autopilot flies the actuators bolted to the hull.
03

Fight through geometry

Kinetic rounds punch, Pierce rounds rake through layers, Serpents weave, and each point-defence mount chooses a threat it can actually reach.

Loop planned assets/loops/landing-wfc-2v2.webm A two-versus-two WFC Arena fight with distinct tracer types, weaving torpedoes, and point-defence lanes divided across the salvo.
Four generated warships make every weapon role visible in one battle.
04

Ships wear every hit

Cracks deepen over wounded plating. Machinery sparks. Outer sections sever into wreckage, and a beaten hull peels apart while its surviving guns keep firing.

Loop planned assets/loops/landing-damage-sequence.webm A close broadside spreads cracks across a clad target, disables a turret, severs an outer section, and leaves the hull drifting through wreckage.
Damage is a sequence you can read, not a swap from intact to gone.
05

Read the cockpit

The contextual HUD surfaces only what the current maneuver needs. NOVA OS opens the same live ship as a map, status schematic, and command terminal.

Loop planned assets/loops/landing-cockpit.webm A quiet cockpit gains a travel lock, autopilot instruments, and combat readouts, then opens NOVA OS on the same ship and target.
Flight view and computer view report one live simulation.
