Foundation is a large construction and repair support ship operated by EarthWorks Industrial. Its regular regional port is Keystone, the settlement hub founded through the company's construction and supply work.
Foundation's role is industrial support, not long-haul freight or naval command. Its size does not make it a capital warship. The ship belongs to the civilian working fleet, while vessels such as Bastion have a separate security role.
The name follows EarthWorks' architectural tradition. Its individual service history, including which installations it helped construct, has not yet been established.
